How to Clean Paint Rollers and Other Painting Tools
Use Green Piece Paint Brush Cleaner to help clean paint from rollers, palettes, cups and other painting tools, without turpentine or paint thinner.
Made with fruit extracts and minerals only. Non-toxic and environmentally friendly, with zero turpentine and zero paint thinner.
What you need
- Green Piece Paint Brush Cleaner
- A cup, jar or tray
- Warm water
- Paper towels or a rag
- A brush comb (optional)
Steps
- Roll or scrape as much paint as you can off the roller cover back into the can.
- Pour some Green Piece Paint Brush Cleaner into a tray or bucket.
- Work the cleaner into the roller cover with your hands or a roller-cleaning tool.
- Let it sit a few minutes so the paint loosens.
- Squeeze the paint and cleaner out of the nap.
- Rinse with warm water until it runs clear, then stand the roller on end to dry.
Tips
- Roller covers hold a lot of paint, so they may need more than one round.
- The same cleaner also works on palettes, cups and art tables.
